Q&A with Susan Tang 2 (of 2)

Note: Click here to meet more of the Frontline Staff!

Q: What are you reading?

Susan: I just finished Searching for Eternity by Elizabeth Musser and Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. They were both excellent novels. The next book on the stack to read is the first book in the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. I’m also slowly making my way through The Power of a Praying Wife and a study of Job.

Q: What is on your TiVo?

Susan: I didn’t have a TV at my old apartment, so I had two years away from TiVo, but I now have it back! My TiVo’d shows would include Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty, ER, Dancing with the Stars and plenty of TLC shows.

Q: Favorite movie?

Susan: Although I love movies, I really don’t have a favorite. Of course, I always love a good chick flick and admit that I will always cry no matter how cheesy they are.

Q: Favorite restaurant?

Susan: Currently, I’m enjoying sampling the restaurants in Old Town Alexandria.

Q: MySpace or Facebook?

Susan: Myspace but I’m not on too often. (Note: Add Susan to your friends!)

Q: Favorite team?

Susan: I’m more into playing sports rather than watching sports. I ran track and cross-country in high school and college and have continued running, but more for fun than competition. I’m currently training to run the JFK 50 Mile Ultra-marathon for the 7th year in a row and just recently finished the Baltimore Marathon.

Q: Who have you learned the most from on the FL staff?

Susan: Susie Battle. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Susie and watching her encourage others and raise up leaders and coaches within the small group ministry.

Q: What do you dream for your ministry in 10 years?

Susan: In ten years, I would be thrilled to see more people stepping up into leadership and to see the small group ministry continuing to grow and create places for Frontliners all around the DC area to connect and grow in their relationships with Christ and one another.

from the "when I was your age" file: we used to trek 50 miles every day just to get to school! and we had to do it barefoot in every kind of weather!
